Vizag Real Estate: Eagles Attempting For Quick Money

This looks like a sudden artificial boom atmosphere. Some realtors are coming up with investment plans in Vizag around the area of the proposed Google AI Data Center.

As the announcement about the Data Center is fresh, the realtors are aiming for quick money and exit.

In fact, there is an ongoing discussion about how many jobs would be created with that data center and whether there would be any environmental threat because of it.

JD Lakshmi Narayana, an educated man, said that many states in the USA are not willing to host AI data centers due to environmental issues like overheating, pollution and shortage of water resources, which could create drought-like situations.  Readmore!

Many states in India are also not keen, and Karnataka has already explained that it is not a viable win-win situation between the state and Google.

However, Andhra Pradesh brought it to Vizag strategically but not Amaravati, leading to suspicions that since CBN is emotionally close to Amaravati he did not want to disturb its environment and therefore aimed at Vizag.

While discussions continue without clarity, realtors are creating artificial hype.

A similar real estate attempt was made in Amaravati as well but nothing worked. Those who invested there are still in trouble.

A better example is the Kia Motors region in Anantapur. Many assumed there would be a huge real estate boom in that area, and some realtors did make quick money selling plots and lands around it, but there is no boom until now.

Everything has come to a standstill, and the Kia employees themselves are commuting from Bengaluru, living there.

"Expecting a real boom around a single company or factory is pure ignorance" say some investors who received calls from realtors but refused to invest.

They also said, “We may buy an acre or two in the proposed investment plans, but what if environmental and pollution issues affect the land’s appreciation? Hence, we declined and are not keen until we get clarity.”
