Jagan Shocks! She's Back in the MP Race

YSR Congress Party chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has started making key decisions regarding party candidates for a few constituencies.

Wherever there are no major issues, he is reportedly finalizing tickets early to ensure smooth coordination among party leaders. In this context, Jagan has turned his special focus toward Kurnool district.

Jagan has decided to field Butta Renuka once again as the YSRCP candidate for the Kurnool Lok Sabha seat.

The party has officially appointed her as the Kurnool Parliament Constituency Coordinator, signaling that she will be the MP candidate in the upcoming elections. Readmore!

Butta Renuka earlier won from Kurnool in 2014 on a YSRCP ticket. However, she later switched to the TDP before eventually returning to the YSR Congress. Despite her comeback, Jagan did not give her a ticket at that time.

In the last election, she contested from Emmiganur Assembly constituency, but could not succeed.

Now, YSRCP has made a strategic reshuffle — the responsibility of Emmiganur constituency coordinator has been given to Kadimetla Rajiv Reddy, grandson of senior leader and former MLA Chennakesava Reddy.

With this, Butta Renuka has been relieved of her Emmiganur responsibilities and is all set to contest from Kurnool Lok Sabha once again.

Through these decisions, the YSRCP leadership has provided much-needed clarity in both Emmiganur and Kurnool constituencies.
