Trade: Mass Jathara Suffers Huge Fall on Day 3

The powerful combo of Ravi Teja and Sreeleela, which earlier delivered the blockbuster Dhamaka that grossed over ₹45 crore, seems to have lost its spark with Mass Jathara.

After a dull opening weekend, the film witnessed a steep decline on its third day at the box office.

The Ravi Teja starrer, which managed to earn around ₹10.45 crore net in India over its first two days (including Friday premieres), dropped sharply on Monday.

As per early trade estimates, Mass Jathara collected only ₹0.95 crore net on its third day. Readmore!

The Telugu occupancy on Monday, November 3, 2025, was recorded at an overall 14.87%, signaling a noticeable dip in audience turnout.

The occupancy stood at 13.69% during morning shows, rose slightly to 16.31% in the afternoon, and fell again in the evening and night shows with 14.86% and 14.62%, respectively.

Directed by Bhanu Bhogavarapu and produced by Fortune Four Cinemas, Srikara Studios, and Sithara Entertainments, the film had generated considerable buzz before release. However, its momentum has fizzled out quickly after the weekend.

Following a series of setbacks with Tiger Nageswara Rao and Mr. Bachchan, Ravi Teja had pinned high hopes on Mass Jathara to bring back his winning streak.

But with a sluggish start and a steep drop in collections, the film faces an uphill battle to recover its ₹40 crore-plus budget.

“At this point, it looks difficult,” a trade analyst concluded.
