Hindupur on Fire: NBK Criticism Triggers Chaos!

Tension erupted in Hindupur of the undivided Anantapur district as TDP workers went on a destructive rampage.

They attacked the YSRCP office, smashing furniture, TVs, and other equipment. They also assaulted YSRCP workers who tried to stop them.

According to reports, the attack was triggered by comments made by constituency in-charge Deepika’s husband, Venu Reddy, against MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna.

Venu Reddy made sharp remarks, saying the people of Hindupur had been living like slaves for 40 years and were being controlled by MLA Balakrishna, who stays far away in Hyderabad. Readmore!

He appealed to the people to wake up and take control of their own governance. He also criticized Balakrishna for being unavailable to the constituency.

Angered by these comments, TDP workers stormed the YSRCP office in Hindupur and created havoc.

Broken glass, smashed chairs, damaged fans, and a destroyed TV — the office was left in a horrific state. Videos of the attack have gone viral on social media.

YSRCP chief and former Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy strongly condemned the incident. He said the attack was not just on his party office but on democracy itself.

Jagan stated that incidents like this show a dangerous fall in democratic values.

He also expressed concern that the police failed to take any action despite the severity of the attack.
