Priyanka: 'Cinema Is a Celebration in Telugu Land'

Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra Jonas lit up the atmosphere in Hyderabad as she greeted fans with excitement.

“Hello Hyderabad! We need to light up the night with your energy,” she said, praising the city’s electric vibe.

She added, “In Hyderabad, cinema is a celebration, and Telugu fans everywhere love movies.”

“I am happy to enter Telugu cinema with Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli. I feel very lucky,” she shared.

Priyanka also praised music director M. M. Keeravani for the hit track Sanchari, calling it “just the beginning of many more chartbusters.”

She then turned to Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran, who plays a powerful villain, saying, “You are terrifying in the movie, but in real life you’re so sweet.”

Thanking the team for casting her as Mandakani, she said, “Thank you for choosing me for a film that is beyond anyone’s imagination.”

She also showered love on her co-star. “Mahesh Babu is incredible, legendary, and more than a lion. I love your family, thank you for treating me like one of your own.”

Priyanka even promised fans that she would learn Telugu soon. “I will be able to speak fluent Telugu by the time we finish this film,” she assured.

She ended her speech with Mahesh Babu’s iconic Dookudu line — “Mind lo fix ayithe, blind ga veltā” — sending the crowd into a frenzy.
