Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who was earlier married to actor Naga Chaitanya, tied the knot with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru on December 1, 2025, in a Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha ceremony at the Linga Bhairavi Temple inside the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore.
Raj was previously married to Shhyamali De, an assistant director who worked on Rang De Basanti and Omkara.
Just hours after Samantha and Raj’s wedding became public, Naga Chaitanya took to Instagram and shared a post that quickly went viral.
Marking the second anniversary of his OTT debut series Dhootha; which premiered on December 1, 2023; the actor posted a still from the show alongside a reflective caption.
He wrote, “Dhootha is a show that proved that if, as an actor, you make choices based on creativity and honesty, and you give it your best… people will connect. They will receive and give you back that energy. Thank you! 2 years of Dhootha! Love to the team that made this happen.”
Dhootha, created and directed by Vikram Kumar, features Parvathy Thiruvothu, Prachi Desai, Anish Kuruvilla, Tharun Bhascker, Rohini, Tanikella Bharani, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Pasupathy.
The Telugu series; also available in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam—was renewed for a second season in June 2024.
Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya, son of superstar Nagarjuna and grandson of legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao, married Made In Heaven actress Sobhita Dhulipala on December 4, 2024, at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.
Chaitanya and Samantha previously starred together in films such as Ye Maaya Chesave, Manam, Autonagar Surya, and Majili.
