Senior YSRCP leader Dharmana Prasada Rao has alleged that over 80% of the ruling alliance MLAs in Andhra Pradesh have landed in the “red zone” within just one-and-a-half years of Chandrababu Naidu’s fourth term as Chief Minister.
He said that crucial government offices — including the MRO and Sub-Registrar offices — have “gone into the control of MLAs,” and questioned whether this is what Naidu meant by claiming to be a four-time chief minister.
Dharmana criticised the government, asking whether any scheme truly benefiting the poor had been implemented by Naidu.
He accused the TDP of misleading people by falsely saying that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was taking away people’s lands through reforms in the revenue department.
He argued that the real benefits to farmers came during Jagan’s rule, saying the long-pending issue of dotted lands, created during the British era, was finally resolved under the previous YSRCP government.
He said that Jagan’s administration conducted proper surveys and restored land rights transparently, yet the opposition unfairly blamed him.
Dharmana claimed there is growing public dissatisfaction with the alliance MLAs, most of whom he believes are now “in the red zone.”
He said the government has failed on all fronts and is unable to address issues related to its own legislators.
According to him, people have already understood the reality, and the ruling coalition can no longer escape by simply blaming the YSRCP for everything.
