Samyuktha Menon has a busy release slate ahead, with multiple long-pending projects finally lining up for theatrical release.
One film has already hit screens, while two more are set to arrive in the coming months, making this a crucial phase in her career.
She recently shared screen space with a senior star for the first time, acting opposite Nandamuri Balakrishna in “Akhanda 2”.
The film also marked her debut in a full-fledged mass song. However, the outcome turned out to be disappointing, with the film failing at the box office.
While Samyuktha actively promoted the film ahead of its release, she quietly moved on after the results, avoiding further discussion around it.
With one setback behind her, Samyuktha now faces two important box-office tests.
The first comes during the Sankranthi season with the much-delayed romantic comedy “Nari Nari Naduma Murari,” which stars Sharwanand in the lead. The film’s performance will be closely watched, given the festive release window.
Her second and arguably bigger test will be the pan-Indian action drama “Swayambhu,” where she plays a warrior alongside Nikhil Siddhartha. Scheduled for a February 13 release, the film carries high expectations.
Having tasted a flop this month, Samyuktha will be keenly awaiting the verdict on these two upcoming releases.
