Top Actress Quits Star Manager, Goes Solo?

If industry sources are to be believed, Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor has reportedly ended her association with Collective Artists Network, the talent management firm backed by Karan Johar, and is now keen on managing her career independently.

According to sources, Janhvi’s growing success in Telugu cinema has played a key role in this decision.

“Janhvi is doing well in Tollywood. She has already delivered a major release with Devara and is now awaiting the release of Peddi. She has worked alongside top-tier stars like Jr NTR and Ram Charan,” a source said.

Janhvi is currently starring opposite Ram Charan in Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana. She is also part of the sequel to Devara, headlined by NTR. Readmore!

Her expanding footprint in Telugu cinema has helped her gain wider acceptance among South Indian audiences.

It is well known that Dharma Productions, headed by Karan Johar, played a crucial role in launching Janhvi’s Bollywood career with films such as Dhadak, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, and Homebound.

She later came under the management of Collective Artists Network, which represents several leading stars including Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Rashmika Mandanna, Rajkummar Rao, and Nora Fatehi.

Interestingly, sources also claim that Karan Johar himself encouraged Janhvi to explore opportunities in Telugu cinema.

As of now, there has been no official statement from Janhvi Kapoor or Collective Artists Network regarding the reported split.
