Sukumar to Watch Final Edit of Peddi

The shooting of Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi is progressing steadily, with the makers aiming for an April 30 release.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film has Sukumar on board as co-producer, and the Pushpa director is said to be closely tracking the project.

While Sukumar has consciously stayed away from the film’s shooting sets; giving his former associate Buchi Babu complete creative freedom to execute the film as per his vision; he is expected to watch the final edit and offer his inputs before the film enters the final stages of post-production.

According to sources, Buchi Babu has already locked the first half of Peddi and is currently filming key second-half sequences. The shooting of songs is still pending. Readmore!

The director is hopeful of wrapping up the entire shoot by next month, after which the edit will be locked and screened for Sukumar before final post-production begins.

Notably, Sukumar had earlier suggested changes to the climax of Buchi Babu’s directorial debut Uppena.

The climax was reshot based on his advice, and the film went on to become a massive blockbuster; raising expectations that his inputs on Peddi could once again prove crucial.
