The team of "Toxic", starring Yash, has been attempting to build hype by circulating claims that the film’s business deals have been closed for “record amounts.” However, social media was quick to question these tall claims.
Recently, news was floated that Dil Raju had acquired the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh theatrical rights for a whopping Rs 120 crore.
Considering that Yash’s previous film "KGF 2" collected around Rs 70 crore in the AP–Telangana region, many questioned how an experienced distributor like Dil Raju would pay nearly Rs 50 crore more for "Toxic".
When journalists asked Dil Raju about these reports, he responded that he would show proof of the Rs 120 crore deal to the media after transferring the amount to the producer.
Many felt this was more of a diplomatic response, as he appeared unwilling to directly confirm or deny the figure.
