A similar situation may now be unfolding in one of Tollywood’s leading production houses.
Industry buzz suggests that two prominent producers are likely to part ways. Interestingly, one of them — who has been actively involved in production activities and regularly appears during promotions as the face of the banner — is said to be considering an exit.
This production house enjoys a strong presence not only in Tollywood but also across Indian cinema. If the rumours turn true, the banner may soon be steered primarily by a single partner.
However, there is no official confirmation so far. The talk is currently limited to industry circles, particularly within Film Nagar.
Whether the partners will eventually go their separate ways or resolve their internal issues remains to be seen.
It is also worth noting that several leading banners, including Sithara Entertainments, Mythri Movie Makers, Sri Venkateswara Creations, and People Media Factory, are currently facing financial pressure.
Rising production costs, alleged wastage during filmmaking, and shrinking OTT and theatrical revenues have put many production houses under stress.
Industry insiders believe such financial strain is contributing to internal differences surfacing more openly.
For now, this remains industry gossip — and all eyes are on whether this top banner will officially announce a split or continue together.
