It is known that the Malayalam version of Drishyam 3 is releasing this summer.
It is obvious to expect that the same would come in Telugu and Tamil with Venkatesh and Kamal Haasan respectively, as they worked in the first two parts of the franchise. But sources say that may not happen now with Drishyam 3 for different reasons.
One reason is that Venkatesh’s range and market value have drastically increased after Sankranthiki Vastunnam, and the Drishyam 3 (spelled as 'Drushyam' in Telugu) production cost may not be sufficient to afford him now.
That doesn’t mean the production budget would be scaled up, as they know the market potential of the film. So the idea of remaking the Telugu version has been dropped.
Coming to Kamal Haasan, he is busy with other projects, including the one with Rajinikanth, and he is also not showing much interest in Drishyam 3. So that version is also dropped.
The status of the Hindi version with Ajay Devgn is not known yet.
However, with films arriving on OTT and everyone watching in the original language with subtitles or dubbed voices, remaking an entire film is not viable unless there is a simultaneous release.
