He wanted it to be a multi-language, multi-starrer right from the start and decided to cast a noted actor from another industry for the role of Venkatesh’s brother-in-law.
The first name that came up was Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil. Discussions were held, but for reasons unknown the proposal did not move forward. However, media and social platforms created massive buzz around his involvement.
The next name that surfaced was Tamil actor Karthi. He listened to the story, and once again speculation reached a peak. What happened after that remained unclear and the continuous noise reportedly even irritated Anil Ravipudi at one point.

Kalyan Ram, a talented actor with a distinct choice of subjects, has been waiting for a solid commercial success for a long time after Bimbisara.
