Tech Titan's $170M Mansion Deal Breaks Record

Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Meta Platforms, and his wife Priscilla Chan have reportedly purchased a $170 million mansion on Miami’s ultra-exclusive Indian Creek Island, often referred to as the “billionaire bunker.”

The property, located at 7 Indian Creek Island Road in Biscayne Bay, has set a new record for the most expensive home sale in Miami-Dade County.

The previous record was held by developer Vlad Doronin, who sold his Star Island mansion for $120 million in 2025.

Zuckerberg bought the estate from celebrity plastic surgeon Aaron Rollins and his wife, Marine. The property includes a partially completed mansion. Readmore!

Real estate brokers Jill and Danny Hertzberg of the Jills-Zeder Group represented the sellers. While Hertzberg confirmed the record-breaking sale, he declined to name the buyer.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Zuckerberg’s net worth stands at $231 billion.

Reports suggest he had been exploring properties on Indian Creek for weeks before the deal closed on Monday. A representative for Zuckerberg declined to comment.

The purchase adds Zuckerberg to a growing list of Silicon Valley billionaires investing heavily in Miami real estate.

Amid discussions of a proposed “billionaires’ tax” in California, several tech moguls have expanded their property portfolios in Florida.

Larry Page reportedly spent $188 million on three Miami properties, while Sergey Brin is said to be acquiring a $50 million home in Miami Beach.

Indian Creek Island, a private municipality with restricted access to its roads, golf course and country club, is home to high-profile residents including Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, Carl Icahn, and Tom Brady.

It remains unclear whether the Miami mansion will serve as Zuckerberg’s primary residence or become another addition to his extensive real estate portfolio, which already includes homes in Palo Alto, Lake Tahoe, Washington, DC, and Kauai, Hawaii.
