Ken Karunaas’ upcoming film Youth has generated good buzz in Tamil and is emerging as one of the most anticipated releases.
Much of the excitement comes from the chartbuster album composed by GV Prakash Kumar and an impressive trailer packed with youthful energy.
With its entertaining tone, the film appears to target audiences who enjoyed films like Premalu and the recent Telugu hit Little Hearts.
The Telugu theatrical rights have been acquired by Housefull Vineeth and Sandeep under the E2C Talkies banner, marking their transition from marketing into film distribution and production.
Written and directed by Ken Karunaas along with his team, the film marks his debut both as a director and lead actor.
Earlier, he appeared in supporting roles in several films, including the 2019 hit Asuran and Dhanush–Venky Atluri’s SIR.
Announcing the Telugu release, the makers unveiled an interesting first-look poster.
The poster was launched by young actor Kiran Abbavaram, who is known for encouraging new talent and content-driven cinema.
While the Tamil version is scheduled to release on March 19, the Telugu release is expected about a week later.
In the first-look poster, Ken is seen riding a bike with three girls alongside him. Dressed in school uniforms, the poster hints at a story revolving around teenage infatuation and youthful emotions.
The film also stars Devadarshini, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Anishma Anilkumar (of Sirai fame), Priyanshi Yadav, and Meenakshi Dinesh, among others.
On the technical side, the film features music by GV Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Viki, and editing by Nash.
Youth is produced by Karuppiah C. Ram and Sulochana Kumar under the banners Paarvathaa Entertainments and Street Boy Studios, respectively.
