Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar franchise has now created history at the worldwide box office.
With the phenomenal performance of both its films, Dhurandhar has officially emerged as the highest-grossing Indian movie franchise of all time, going past the long-standing record held by Baahubali.
The first Dhurandhar film had already turned into a massive blockbuster, exceeding expectations and delivering historic collections worldwide.
Though it did not open on an extraordinary note, the film showed exceptional long-run strength and eventually posted huge numbers.
Now, the sequel, Dhurandhar 2, is doing even bigger business globally and has already entered the â¹1,000 crore club, taking the franchise to an entirely new level.
Dhurandhar Franchise Crosses â¹2,514 Crore
As of now, the combined worldwide gross of the Dhurandhar franchise stands at a massive â¹2,514.6 crore.
With this, it has overtaken the Baahubali franchise, which had long remained at the top.
For reference, Baahubali grossed around â¹650 crore worldwide, while Baahubali 2 went on to collect about â¹1,800 crore, taking the total franchise gross to roughly â¹2,450 crore.
Now, Dhurandhar has officially moved ahead and claimed the No. 1 position.
