Actor Explains Why He Said No to NTR’s Film

Malayalam young star Tovino Thomas has sparked discussion with his candid remarks about working in Telugu cinema during a recent event in Hyderabad.

When asked about doing a straight Telugu film, the Malayalam star said he is open to the idea but pointed out key differences in working styles.

He explained that Malayalam films are typically completed in a single schedule, whereas Telugu projects often span multiple schedules over a long period.

Tovino also confirmed that he is not part of the much-talked-about film “Dragon” starring NTR Jr. and directed by Prashanth Neel. Readmore!

He revealed that he couldn’t commit the extensive dates required for such a large-scale production.

The actor emphasized that he prefers focusing on one film at a time and completing it before moving on to the next.

According to him, working on a Telugu film could take nearly a year, which would mean sacrificing four to five Malayalam projects.

“I don’t like juggling multiple films. I’d rather finish one and then start another. Waiting for a year for a single project is difficult, as it affects my existing commitments,” he said.

His honest take has surprised many fans, especially those hoping to see him in NTR's Dragon.
