The film has already stormed past the half-million mark in the USA, becoming Sesh’s fastest film to hit the milestone in the region. The collections in the region stand at $575K+ so far.
Directed by Shaneil Deo, Dacoit is also showing strong momentum in the domestic circuit.
The booking patterns on BookMyShow indicate robust openings across the Telugu states, with 250K+ tickets sold on the first day.
Interestingly, the film also opened on a remarkable note in Hindi, collecting 1.25 crore from the North circuit.
The film registered a striking 15 Cr+ worldwide gross on Day 1, marking the highest opening of Sesh’s career.
The film witnessed double the bookings compared to its previous shows in the Telugu states, a rare phenomenon in current times.
With Dacoit arriving as the week’s only straight Telugu release, and further propelled by strong word of mouth, the movie is set for a long run.
