Allu Arjun Moves to Mumbai for Mega 'Raaka'

Allu Arjun is likely to move base from Hyderabad to Mumbai for an extended period as the shooting schedule of his upcoming film Raaka intensifies.

According to reports, the actor is planning to stay in Mumbai for the next two to three years to fully focus on the project and avoid frequent travel between cities.

The decision is said to be driven by the film’s demanding schedule, which requires his constant presence.

Directed by Atlee, Raaka is being mounted as a high-budget sci-fi spectacle, with an estimated cost of around ₹700 crore. Readmore!

The film also stars Deepika Padukone alongside Allu Arjun, with large-scale action sequences and heavy use of visual effects.

The shoot is expected to continue through 2026 with multiple long schedules planned.

Despite reports of her second pregnancy, Deepika Padukone is said to be continuing with the film’s schedule, including participating in action scenes.

She and Ranveer Singh welcomed their first child, Dua, in September 2024.

The film also features Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, and Janhvi Kapoor in key roles.

Backed by Sun Pictures, Raaka is being positioned as one of the most ambitious projects in Indian cinema.
