Director Koratala Siva finds himself in a tricky situation regarding his next project, as uncertainty continues to surround his immediate plans.
He had initially hoped to begin work on Devara 2 in June this year. However, Jr NTR is currently busy with Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel.
The latest buzz suggests that the film’s shoot may continue until the end of the year, leaving no immediate dates for Koratala Siva.
At the same time, Trivikram Srinivas is reportedly planning to begin his mythological project God of War with Jr NTR towards the year-end.
There is also speculation that Haarika & Hassine Creations may officially announce the project on May 20, coinciding with NTR’s birthday.
Given this scenario, it appears unlikely that Devara 2 will go on floors this year. The question now is whether Koratala Siva will wait longer or shift focus to another project.
Interestingly, Koratala has already narrated a story to Nandamuri Balakrishna and received a positive response.
However, Balakrishna is currently committed to multiple projects, including films with Vivek Athreya and Vijay Kanakamedala, apart from his ongoing film with Gopichand Malineni. This makes it difficult for Koratala to immediately start a project with him as well.
As a result, despite the release of Devara nearly two years ago, Koratala Siva is yet to finalise and announce his next move.
