Deepika Padukone is reportedly giving top priority to her upcoming film Raaka, starring Allu Arjun and directed by Atlee, even as she navigates her second pregnancy.
When Deepika personally informed the team about her pregnancy, both Atlee and Allu Arjun were initially concerned about the film’s shooting schedule.
The actress plays a key role in “Raaka,” which involves several action-heavy sequences.
However, their concerns were soon eased after Deepika assured them that she would complete crucial portions of the shoot before entering her second trimester.
She has already wrapped some high-risk action scenes prior to her pregnancy, while a body double will be used for a few remaining sequences.
In fact, Deepika has allocated extensive call sheets for Raaka, making it her immediate priority.
To facilitate this, Allu Arjun has reportedly shifted base to Mumbai and rented a luxury apartment to focus on completing the portions involving Deepika on priority.
Meanwhile, Deepika is also part of Shah Rukh Khan’s “King,” where she plays his wife.
Unlike Raaka, her role in King is said to be less demanding and does not involve action sequences, allowing her to approach that project at a more relaxed pace.
At present, completing key sequences of “Raaka” remains Deepika’s primary focus.
