Official: No campaign from Megastar Chiranjeevi

Megastar Chiranjeevi has officially made it clear that he will not campaign for his brother Pawan Kalyan.

Chiranjeevi has previously made a video urging voters of Pithapuram assembly constituency to vote for Pawan Kalyan.

He asked them to elect Pawan Kalyan as MLA since he always works for the people.

The video demonstrated Chiranjeevi's lack of interest in campaigning for Andhra Pradesh's alliance parties.

Still, Jana Sena and TDP supporters on social media stated that the megastar would arrive in Andhra Pradesh on May 9th to campaign for the coalition parties.

But Chiranjeevi, his wife Surekha, and son Ram Charan had already gone for New Delhi.

Chiranjeevi will receive the coveted Padma Vibhushan Award at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Thursday (May 9th).

The president will present him with this honor. Chiranjeevi will stay in New Delhi until late Thursday evening.

This effectively puts an end to all speculation about his campaign.
