Naidu serious on TDP MLA for rude behaviour

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has taken serious note of the unruly behavior of his party MLA from Narasaraopet, Chadalavada Aravind Babu, at the State Excise Commissioner’s office.

According to party sources, Naidu was angered by a video showing the MLA creating a scene and behaving rudely with the Excise Commissioner, Nishant Kumar.

He found the MLA’s actions inappropriate and has sought an explanation from him regarding the incident.

On Thursday afternoon, Aravind Babu visited the Excise Commissioner’s office, demanding the removal of 10 contract employees from the IML depot in Narasaraopet and the appointment of individuals of his choice. Readmore!

He instructed officials to prepare the appointment orders within an hour before his return.

Despite the commissioner stating that the request would be reviewed, the MLA left without waiting for a response. When he returned two hours later, he found that the commissioner was not in his chambers.

Frustrated, Aravind Babu barged into the office and created a scene for nearly three hours.

He even brought in pillows, sat on the sofa, and later lay down on the floor, demanding that his orders be followed.

Despite senior excise officials trying to pacify him, the MLA refused to leave.

The issue soon reached senior government and party leaders, including TDP state president Palla Srinivasa Rao, other MLAs, and ministers, who called him multiple times, urging him to leave the office. However, Aravind Babu ignored their requests.

Finally, the Excise Commissioner informed him that his request had been forwarded for review, after which the MLA left the premises.

The entire episode was recorded on mobile phones and shared on social media, prompting Naidu to take the matter seriously and reprimand the MLA for his actions.
