When it comes to NTR’s upcoming films, people usually mention War 2, Prashanth Neel, and Nelson. That’s because no one had clarity on when Devara 2 would happen.
However, at a recent event, NTR himself confirmed that Devara 2 is definitely happening, bringing a mix of reactions from fans — some were excited, while others questioned the need for a sequel.
In this context, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram provided further clarity in an interview with Great Andhra. He not only confirmed that Devara 2 is in the works but also revealed when it might happen.
He explained that NTR agreed to War 2 even before Devara, and finalized the project with Prashanth Neel even before Salaar.
He added that fans have been demanding Devara 2, so it will definitely happen — and in fact, it will take place before the film with Nelson.
Until now, there was uncertainty about where Devara 2 would fit into NTR's lineup. But going by Kalyan Ram’s statement, the Nelson project seems likely to be delayed significantly.
