It has been a long time since major media in Andhra Pradesh truly supported the struggles of the people.
Today, even channels like Andhra Jyoti and Sakshi avoid speaking out against powerful names like Ambani and Adani, even when the public is clearly suffering.
Some media practice selective reporting, while others focus only on praising or attacking political leaders to serve their own interests.
Many believe these media attacks happen because journalists have ignored real issues, and now focus more on damaging reputations than reporting the truth. That’s why people are no longer shocked or affected by these attacks.
Even when tobacco farmers burn their crops in protest, or when people die by suicide, only a few newspapers report on it.
Today, Eenadu published a story blaming Peddi Reddy under Chandrababu Naidu for falling mango prices, while ignoring the real problems faced by mango farmers.
In Ulavapadu, farmers blocked a highway over land being taken for Indo Sol Company. People in Kuppam also opposed giving land for an airport. The media hides such protests, but public anger continues to grow.
Whether it’s Jagan Mohan Reddy, Chandrababu Naidu, or Pawan Kalyan or anyone else, when they are in opposition or ruling party, none of them truly fight for the people.
Instead, they focus on public appearances, gathering crowds, and going viral online to show their strength. No leader stands up consistently for people’s rights.
All seem more focused on gaining power by any means, either by distributing money or showing a false image of development.
Governments are not concerned about people’s suffering or deaths. There is no genuine emotion, care, or commitment to solving real public issues.
