TDP MLA Gets Rs 2 Cr Threat Letter – 'Pay Up or Die!'

In Nellore district, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA Vemireddy Prasanthi Reddy has allegedly received a threat letter from unidentified persons.

The letter reportedly demanded ₹2 crore and warned that she would be killed if the money was not paid.

Prasanthi Reddy, who represents Kovvur constituency, recently made headlines following a political clash with YSRCP senior leader and former MLA Nallapureddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy.

Although a case was registered against him, the High Court restricted the matter to inquiry, preventing an arrest.

According to reports, two unidentified individuals delivered the threat letter to the watchman at Prasanthi Reddy’s residence in Nellore. The letter allegedly stated that she must pay ₹2 crore or face dire consequences.

Following the incident, the MLA lodged a complaint with the police. As part of the investigation, officials have reportedly taken two suspects into custody.

Supporters of Prasanthi Reddy said that if the police conduct a fair inquiry, the people behind the threats will soon be exposed.
