Sankranthi Releases: Why All Heroes Hiding From Media?

Big films are being made one after another and are being lined up for the Sankranthi festival season. Remunerations are anyway huge—that is a separate issue.

But when it comes to promotions, most heroes are staying away from the media. Not a single star hero is conducting even one proper media meet.

The usual excuse is that the media may ask uncomfortable questions. But if questions are asked, there seems to be no clear answer ready.

Interestingly, the same stars openly share even personal details when they interact with Bollywood media or media from other languages. Of course, that is their choice. Readmore!

One of the big Sankranthi releases is The Raja Saab. However, hero Prabhas has not appeared before the media even once. He attended only the pre-release event and gave a single interview with Sandeep Vanga. That is all.

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s film Shankar Prasad is also in the same situation. He is not coming before the media either, though he is expected to attend the pre-release event.

The producers conducted a media meet, but the Megastar stayed away. This is said to be a fun-filled film meant to entertain audiences. Venkatesh is also part of the film, but he too has not interacted with the media.

Ravi Teja’s film Bharta Mahashayulu follows the same pattern. Ravi Teja generally avoids media interactions and interviews, and this film is no different.

Hero Sharwanand, who has been facing a series of flops, is currently working on Naari Naari Naduma Murari. So far, there are no clear signs of him coming before the media for promotions. It remains uncertain whether he will participate at all.

Among all these, Naveen Polishetty appears to be doing better. He has already held a media event for his film Anaganaga Oka Raju, and indications suggest that interviews will begin in the next couple of days.
