Nikhil First Needs to Announce Release Date

Nikhil Siddhartha has begun promoting his upcoming pan-Indian spectacle “Swayambhu.” However, the makers have not officially announced a release date yet. Industry buzz suggests that they are considering April 17 as a possible release date.

For now, the promotions are moving at a slow pace and the hype around the film remains minimal. If Nikhil truly wants to make a strong impact at the pan-Indian level and deliver a bigger success than “Karthikeya 2,” the first step would be to officially lock and announce the release date.

In the current scenario, fixing a release date early and building awareness around it has become crucial for generating anticipation. For instance, Nani’s “The Paradise” moved from March to August but clearly announced August 21 as its new release date. Similarly, “Peddi” and “Toxic” also shifted from March but quickly revealed their revised dates as April 30 and June 4, respectively.

In contrast, Nikhil’s team is promoting “Swayambhu” simply as a summer release, without specifying a date. This approach may not help build strong momentum. Readmore!

Moreover, Nikhil’s recent films did not perform well at the box office. With two pan-Indian projects in his lineup, better planning and stronger promotional strategy are essential to create the needed buzz.
