The trailer of Raakaasaa is finally out, and it gives a solid glimpse into a world filled with fear, sacrifice, mystery, and humour.

Right from the beginning, the trailer grabs attention with a powerful line that sets the tone for the film. It shows a village trapped in fear, where people are forced to send sacrifices to a terrifying demon living inside a sealed fort.

Into this dark and strange world enters Sangeeth Shobhan as Veera. At first, things look simple and even funny at times, but slowly the trailer reveals a much more dangerous and supernatural side.

The humour in the trailer feels natural and comes through the characters and their situations, instead of looking forced. Readmore!

As the trailer moves forward, it gets more intense with chilling warnings about a falling meteor, cattle turning into dead carcasses overnight, and the idea that sacrifice is the only way to survive.

These moments make it clear that Raakaasaa is not just about horror or folklore, but also about survival.

Visually, the trailer looks very rich and impressive. The fortress interiors, torch-lit scenes, village setup, and eerie atmosphere all add to the film’s grand look.

The background score also plays a big role, starting in a lighter tone and slowly building into a haunting and intense mood.

The film is already creating strong buzz online. The title glimpse has crossed 1.9 million views, while the teaser has gone beyond 3 million views.

Songs like “Rapappa,” “Padhe Padhe,” and “Snake Dance” have also crossed the 1 million mark, adding to the hype.

This growing buzz is now reflecting in the film’s release plans as well. Rakasa is gearing up for a wide release in India and overseas, with premieres on April 2, 2026, one day before its worldwide release on April 3, 2026.

The film stars Sangeeth Shobhan and Nayan Sarika in the lead roles. The supporting cast includes Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Getup Srinu.

Produced by Niharika Konidela and Umesh Kumar Bansal under Pink Elephant Pictures in association with Zee Studios, the film is directed by Manasa Sharma, who is making her directorial debut.

Music is composed by Anudeep Dev, cinematography is by Raju Edurolu, and editing is handled by Anwar Ali.

With its mix of native folklore, strong visuals, suspense, and natural humour, Rakasa looks like a film that could offer something fresh on the big screen.

If the trailer is any indication, Raakaasaa is coming with both content and curiosity.
