Sumanth Prabhas’s rural love and family drama Godari Gattupaina is all set to hit the screens on May 8th, and the team opted for aggressive promotional campaign.

The story revolves around Raju, an earnest auto driver whose quiet admiration for Maaya slowly matures into love. Their feelings align, but acceptance from Maaya’s overprotective father becomes the defining conflict.
Sumanth Prabhas essays the Godavari youth persona naturally, elevating the character with his effortless slang and grounded presence. Nidhi Pradeep shines as his love interest Maaya.
Jagapathi Babu brings emotional weight to the story as the father, while Laila complements him with calm sensitivity. Sudarshan, Raj Kumar Kasireddy, and Viva Raghav ensure there’s constant humour.
Subash Chandra, though it’s his debut film, crafts a breezy rural romance that leans heavily on emotions, entertainment, and youthful charm.
Sai Santhosh’s visuals capture the Godavari’s rural charm vividly, and Naga Vamshi Krishna’s music blends beautifully with the film’s tone. The production values of Red Puppet Productions look alright for the genre.
