Bollywood heroines often regard Telugu cinema as an industry that creates grand and impactful films.
However, Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor seems to have developed a reputation for demanding exorbitant fees.
She seems to be in the belief that Telugu film industry pays bigger than Bollywood for sure. Recently, there was talk that Shraddha was approached for a special song in Pushpa 2.
However, when she allegedly demanded Rs 8 crores for the song, the producers decided to backtrack. Instead, they finalized the deal with Sreeleela for Rs 2 crores to perform the same number.
Now, it seems Shraddha has missed yet another opportunity.
She was reportedly considered for the role of the leading lady in Srikanth Odela's upcoming film, produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and starring Nani.
However, after learning about her reported remuneration demand of â¹12 crore, the talks did not progress further. The producers are now exploring other options, likely considering a new face for the role.
This is viewed as a missed opportunity for Shraddha Kapoor. Mrunal Thakur, who recently starred opposite Nani, has garnered significant acclaim and more offers in Telugu cinema.
Shraddha, too, had the potential to establish herself in Telugu films for a few years. However, with her high remuneration demands becoming widely known, it might deter other producers from approaching her in the near future.
