PM Modi Recalls ANR's Impact On Telugu Cinema

A special stamp commemorating ANR’s contributions to cinema was unveiled. Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan presented the prestigious ANR Award to megastar Chiranjeevi.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also paid tribute to the iconic actor in his latest Mann Ki Baat address of 2024, recalling ANR’s impact on Telugu cinema.

Modi remarked that in 2024, India was celebrating the birth centenaries of several legendary film personalities, including ANR.

He added that these figures had brought global recognition to India’s film industry, emphasizing how ANR’s films beautifully showcased Indian traditions and values, propelling Telugu cinema to new heights.
