The pre-release event of the movie Game Changer, is likely to be held near Rajahmundry, instead of at Vijayawada, as was planned originally, according to sources.
Directed by famous Tamil director Shankar, the Ram Charan-starrer pan India film will be released for Sankranti.
The pre-release event is set to take place in Vemagiri, Kadiam Mandal, near Rajamahendravaram, scheduled for January 4.
“Preparations are in full swing for the event. The reason for this is that a significant portion of Game Changer was filmed in the East Godavari surrounding areas. Additionally, the film unit has deliberately chosen a rural setting for this pre-release event,” sources said.
The event is expected to be attended by hero Ram Charan, director Shankar, Megastar Chiranjeevi, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, members of the film unit, prominent figures from the film and political industries, and members of the Mega family.
Vemagiri was chosen as the venue due to its strategic location adjacent to a four-lane national highway. The former village Sarpanch, Velugubanti Venkatachalam, owns approximately 40 acres of land in this area.
This ground has previously hosted large gatherings, including a public meeting by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Telugu Desam Party's Mahanadu.
The venue is equipped with sufficient parking spaces and road infrastructure for smooth traffic management, making it an ideal choice for the grand event.
Recently, a 256-foot cutout of Ram Charan was unveiled in Vijayawada, an event that was celebrated successfully.
Following this, the Game Changer pre-release event will be held in Vemagiri. On Tuesday, several representatives conducted a site inspection to oversee the arrangements.
