Nandamuri Kalyanram, who has been co-producing Jr. NTR’s recent films including Devara, clarified that his involvement is strictly limited to production.
He emphasized that he does not interfere in his younger brother’s career choices.
“All decisions regarding his films and roles are entirely his own. He’s a pan-Indian star—how can I possibly give him suggestions?” Kalyanram said in a recent interview.
Addressing speculation about NTR’s leaner appearance, Kalyanram dismissed the rumors and confirmed that the actor’s recent weight loss is purely for his role in Prashanth Neel’s upcoming film Dragon.
Kalyanram is currently busy promoting his own film, Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi, which is set to release on April 18.
While Kalyanram maintains a hands-off approach to NTR’s creative decisions, the bond between the brothers remains strong.
NTR often supports Kalyanram’s films by attending promotional events or amplifying them on social media.
Meanwhile, Kalyanram’s production house, NTR Arts, continues to co-produce many of his brother’s projects.
