A day after the United States bombed three of Iran’s nuclear sites, Iran allegedly retaliated by attacking a US military base in Qatar.
According to local media, this happened on Monday, although no official confirmation of damage has been issued yet. No reports of injuries or casualties have emerged so far.
The escalation came after a tense UN Security Council meeting where Iran warned it would respond to the strikes.
Iran’s UN envoy called the US attack a “blatant crime” and accused Israel of triggering the conflict.
Meanwhile, former US President Trump announced the successful operation targeting Iran’s Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan sites, calling it “historic” and urging Iran to end the war.
The crisis began on June 13 when Israel launched ‘Operation Rising Lion’ on Iran’s military and nuclear facilities.
The attacks and counterattacks have heightened tensions in the Middle East, with global implications as both nations claim victory.
Reports indicate that even U.S. bases in Kuwait and Syria are within Iran’s target range, and any attack on these installations should not be viewed as a surprise.
