Buzz: Tollywood's Top Banner, But No Office!

In Tollywood, it’s almost a rule — if you have even one film in hand, you need an office. Two films? Then a second office isn’t a surprise.

Especially for big banners like Sithara or Mythri Movie Makers, multiple offices are often a necessity.

But in a surprising turn of events, Mythri — the industry’s biggest production house at the moment — currently has no office space.

Reports suggest the company was recently forced to vacate its long-standing premises. Since its inception, Mythri operated out of a large rented house in Jubilee Hills. Readmore!

That building is owned by producer Prashanthi Tipirneni, who is now handling multiple projects herself under banners like Wall Poster Cinema and Unanimous.

Sources say she had long been asking Mythri to find a new space, given her increasing production commitments — finally leading to the company’s exit.

Earlier, Mythri had briefly operated from another office during the production of films like Uppena and Sarkaru Vaari Paata.

That space belonged to the family of former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao and suited their needs well.

However, it was eventually vacated, and actor Varun Tej has since moved in, transforming it with lavish interiors and now lives there with his parents.

While Mythri is reportedly working on establishing its own permanent office building, for now, the banner is operating without a physical office.

The team is said to be actively scouting for a suitable location to set up their new base.
