Marco 2 Moves Ahead Without Unni Mukundan

“Marco” created a sensation at the box office, earning praise in Malayalam and making decent business in its Telugu dubbed version. The film catapulted Unni Mukundan into stardom.

He had earlier played supporting roles in Telugu films like Bhagamathie, Yashoda, and Janatha Garage.

However, “Marco” also drew heavy criticism for its extreme violence. One infamous sequence, where a pregnant woman is killed and her unborn child is ripped out, was widely condemned as one of the most disturbing scenes in Indian cinema.
