While the Monday dip was expected after the film’s historic opening four days, trade analysts note that Kantara Chapter 1 is still performing exceptionally well for a weekday, especially in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

Directed by Rishab Shetty and produced by Hombale Films, Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 has already crossed the ₹350 crore gross mark worldwide and remains a dominant force at the Indian box office.

With its strong hold in the southern circuits and steady buzz in the Hindi belt, the film is poised to continue its impressive run through the week — reaffirming Hombale Films’ status as the most successful banner in Indian cinema right now.
