Kesineni brothers back to fight on social media

After nearly a year of silence, the long-standing feud between Kesineni brothers — former Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani and his younger brother, current MP Kesineni Chinni — has reignited, this time erupting on social media.

On Wednesday, Kesineni Nani took to X (formerly Twitter) to launch a scathing attack on his brother, alleging that Chinni had demanded the removal of the name "NTR" from his office.

Nani further accused Chinni of engaging in various illegal activities, including sand smuggling, fly ash and gravel trade, land scams, operating gambling centers, and even collecting money from the ration rice mafia.

In a sarcastic remark, Nani claimed that the public wants Chinni’s office to be renamed after notorious criminal Charles Sobhraj instead of NTR. Readmore!

Responding on X, MP Chinni dismissed the accusations, calling Nani a “psycho” wandering the streets of social media with delusional and toxic rants.

He said such individuals are driven by bitterness, hatred, and revenge. Chinni urged the public to ignore such negativity and not waste time responding to it.

Just a day earlier, Nani had accused his brother of being the mastermind behind a land-grabbing scheme involving a benami IT company, Ursa Clusters, which had allegedly been allotted 60 acres of land in Visakhapatnam.

He brought the matter to the attention of TDP chief and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, claiming Chinni was using the name of Minister Nara Lokesh to legitimize the allotment.

Nani, who contested the Vijayawada Lok Sabha seat on a YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) ticket, lost to his brother Chinni.

After the formation of the alliance government, Nani announced his retirement from active politics but has continued to stay in the spotlight through occasional social media posts.

His renewed political attacks have now become a major talking point in Andhra Pradesh’s political circles, drawing public attention back to the high-profile family rift.
