Chandrababu Naidu consistently selects individuals from outside his party to target Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. Initially, when there was no official alliance between TDP and JanaSena, he used Pawan Kalyan to hold press meets and criticize Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Later, after TDP and JanaSena officially united, Chandrababu still wanted an outsider to continue attacking Jagan. That’s when he found an opportunity to choose Y S Sharmila.
Sharmila continued to verbally attack her brother, but over time, her relevance in Andhra Pradesh politics diminished.
Now, Chandrababu Naidu seems to have found another opportunity in the form of Vijayasai Reddy. As Vijayasai recently exited YCP, Naidu is now using him to criticize Jagan Mohan Reddy.
This is the art of Chandrababu Naidu — he knows whom to choose and when. He prefers individuals close to Jagan’s family who have fallen out with him, more than any party insider.
